NOTIFICATION OF ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE WORKS M69 Eastbound junction 1

I'm writing to let you know that we'll be carrying out essential maintenance of the installation of signal loops works on the M69 Eastbound junction 1.

These works will take place between 8pm and 6am, Monday 12th May and Tuesday 13th May, with the road being open from 6am on Wednesday 14th May 2025.

Please note that all planned works may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. How will the work affect traffic? T

o keep our programme for these works as short as possible and to minimise disruption to the local community, residents, businesses and road users, we'll be working under a full southbound carriageway closure including slip roads. During these closures fully signed diversion routes will be in place, which have been agreed with the local authority. How will the work affect businesses and residents?

We'll make sure that access to businesses and residences is maintained wherever possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will do our very best to complete the work as quickly as possible, keeping disturbances and noise to a minimum.
