This rubbish was left by the casual football pitch on Friday evening by a group who had been playing football - not the established organised teams.
These are most likely local people and we ask everyone to look after our village - please put your rubbish in the bins provided

Motorbikes & Quad bikes on Victory Park
Cosby Parish Council is receiving reports of motorbikes and quad bikes being ridden on Cosby Victory Park and on the sports fields damaging the pitches.The By-laws for Victory Park prevent all forms of cycling or motorbikes being ridden on Victory Park. Please do not ride motorbikes or quad bikes on Victory Park

Pitch Improvement on Victory Park
Members of the public are advised to be aware of works being carried out on Cosby Victory Park this week
This is the second stage of verti-draining and grass improvement being sponsored by the Junior Football Club.

Pitch Improvement on Victory Park
Visitors to Cosby Victory Park may have notice a couple of tractors moving slowly up and down the park over the football pitches and leaving small spiked holes in the ground no bigger than a penny in diameter and roughly 6 to 8 inches deep.

ADVANCE NOTICE - SAFETY Cosby Playground & Victory Park
SAFETY
The laying of the tarmac to the new pathway through Victory Park will mean that for an entire day for SAFETY REASONS, the Childrens playground will be closed and areas of Victory Park will be inaccessible as lorries and other equipment will be moving around.
No firm date can be given as this work is weather dependant but members of the public are asked to avoid the area during these works.

New footpath for Victory Park.
Work is scheduled to start w/c 21st September 2020 to install a new tarmac footpath between Lady Leys and Narborough Road and linking up with the footpath to the children's playground.This will ensure that no matter what the weather, all users will enjoy a mud free route across Victory Park.
